Save the date: Monday, May 26th.
It's Uniondale High School's 50th anniversary! UHS Principal Florence Simmons is planning their 50th birthday celebration in May. The community voted on the bond to restore and build a new auditorium and music wing. It will be "state of the art" so she is planning the ceremonies around the ribbon cutting. The first day will be on Memorial Day immediately following the parade on May 26, 2008. Part two will be their Annual Spring Concert in the new auditorium on May 29th. The concert will be a black tie affair. All alumni will be invited so spread the word. Information will be forthcoming on the UHS website.
The new music wing and auditorium is a 50th birthday gift from the Uniondale Community.

Multi-Class Reunion
There will be a combined 40th reunion for the Classes of 1967, 1968, 1969, and 1970 on Saturday, July 26th, at the Uniondale Marriott. The hours are from 7:30 P.M. til 12:30am. There is a four hour open bar and a one hour cash bar, from 11:30-12:30am. Tickets are $115.00. There are a block of rooms reserved at the Marriott for those who are coming in from out-of-town. And for those who arrive early, there will be get-togethers the previous Thursday at Borrelli's and Friday at the Sports Bar at the Marriott.
