Hello and Happy holidays to you. My name is Tim Ivers and I had the
pleasure of spending time while growing up in Uniondale. My family is
from Park Pl. my father grew up there and my Aunt still lives in the
same house. I read the piece and looked at the pictures of the Pony
rides and it brought back alot of nice memories for me. One of the other
things I remember so well is the Christmas house on Jerusalem Ave. it
was owned and decorated by Mr. Klimczuk (the spelling may be wrong). He
passed away a few years ago and that part of history is no more. I had
taken several pictures of the house back in the mid 1980's. I am
attaching them and if you like you may put them up on the site. Driving
down Jerusalem Ave. just isn't the same without the house being
decorated but maybe it can live on in the pictures and memories.
